Based in Singapore, Shop ROCKUP was started from a keen interest in rocks and their metaphysical properties - and because there are times when we just need that extra colour pop (or the extra luck!). With stress already piling on from all directions at the workplace and in life, dressing for work and other events should not add to the stress.

In fact, you can wear the same clothes with different accessories - and that's a whole new outfit. With rocks unique to you, who would worry about being caught wearing the same clothes again?

[em-breys] verb/noun

  1. To hold (someone) closely in one's arms, especially as a sign of affection, or the act of doing so.
  2. To accept (a belief, theory, or change) willingly and enthusiastically, or the act of doing so.

We hope to spread some positivity in the community and to encourage everyone of you to embrace your differences with love.

No one is created equal.

But we believe that everyone should be treated fairly and respectfully. Whether you are small or big; short or tall; slim or curvy; we hope you will embrace yourself with pride. This applies whoever you are, wherever you are, whatever you do.

This topic hits very close to home. My mum has been heavily overweight for years, and we have seen how this has had an impact on her outlook on life, how she had very low self-respect for herself - and it is very upsetting to see her being quietly affected when she has challenges finding "pretty" clothes for the special occasions (like my wedding). Who defines "pretty" anyways? She shuns going out, minimises contact with others and as a result has had many health issues (from lack of exercise), and has even gone for surgeries to hopefully reduce the impact on her health and at the same time to lose weight.

No one needs to live like this, subject to the society's definition of who/what looks good and who/what does not.

If you see someone dear to you who has forgotten to love and respect themselves, embrace them and encourage them to, too, embrace themselves.

You never know how much your embrace means to them.

Embrace differences with positivity.

(Side note: designing clothes is not the forte of the team at Shop ROCKUP, but if you have the same belief, or if you also work towards encouraging the community to embrace - please let us know if you are interested in Collaborations.)

And just like how there are no two people who are exactly the same, no rock is created equal. Each rock, even rocks of the same type, can appear different in terms of colour, clarity, or natural weatherings, as such your rocks are uniquely yours.

We hope you will embrace the rocks, which are unique to you.

Feel free to contact us at if you need help choosing the rocks for you.
